This story begins in November 2013, with a large military auction from the estate of Robert M. Brienik. Robert had been an avid military collector who lived in Youngstown, Ohio, He was known for his attention to detail of his extensive military collection. Robert was also a veteran who served in the Korean Conflict as a U.S. Army Medical Corpsman and was inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame in 2007 for his contributions to veterans of the area. These included administering a Needy Veterans Food Pantry for the VA clinic as well as serving on a Youngstown State University task force to make veterans aware of opportunities at the University.
