THE CLOONEYS ARRIVE IN STYLE FOR A DINNER DATE IN ITALY
With a property on the shores of Lake Como, George and Amal Clooney have long been members of the “jetty” set. And having made a welcome return to their Italian hideaway – their first in two years – they were keen to push the boat out for a family dinner. The stylish couple (left) were photographed disembarking from a water taxi to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo with family members, including Amal’s sister Tala and journalist mother Baria Alamuddin.
Married for seven years and parents to twins Alexander and Ella, four, they looked closer than ever, holding hands as they headed ashore (below). Speaking about his relationship with Amal, a barrister specialising in human rights cases, the Oceans 11 star told the hosts of the Smartless podcast: “I met this amazing woman... She was brilliant and funny and beautiful and kind. I was sort of swept off my feet.”
