    I’m a full-time building services consultant for Berkhamsted-based SVM Consulting Engineers. I design and monitor the installation of building services — heating, air conditioning, ventilation, lights and power, gas, water and so on — that go into commercial and large-scale domestic buildings. SVM also provides energy strategies for low- and zero-carbon buildings for clients. I’m an associate director and it’s a challenging and busy position that involves travelling to various sites, currently Tunbridge Wells, Caddington, Turvey and Central London. It’s a massive undertaking to install all services
