EASY STEPS TO A FOLD-OUT BED, SHELVING AND DESK

Increase the functionality of your spare room by installing a bed that’s only there when you need it.

Gather your supplies

• Flat-pack double wall bed unit

• 18mm plywood

• Recycled fence palings

• 42 x 19mm pine

• 2250 x 600 x 30mm plywood

You’ll also need

Sander; Feast Watson Liming White; painting equipment; clear varnish; drill; various drill bits; 65, 30 and 40mm wood screws; tape measure; circular saw; PVA glue; 50mm nails

For you to note

Before installation, sand and coat all plywood and palings using Liming White. When dry, apply two coats of clear varnish in a satin finish. Let dry after each coat.
