THIRD VAULT YARNS

A COMPUTER science graduate with a passion for sci-fi, gaming, and other ‘geeky’ pursuits, Lola Johnson is an indie dyer whose joyful yet sophisticated colourways are winning a firm following.

Lola’s work has been spotlighted recently at the Unravel 2021 festival, and she was a guest participant of John Arbon’s Mill Open Weekend 2021, where she showed two hand-dyed shades she created using John’s brand-new Appledore yarn. Lola’s yarn is also showcased in Confident Knitting, the new book from the Arnall-Culliford Knitwear team.

As well as dyeing collections, which she sells via Etsy and Payhip. We chatted with Lola about her yarn dyeing adventures.
