LEWIS LANDS A MEMORABLE WIN AND AIMS TO BANISH THE BAD TEMPERS AT SILVERSTONE

Fans will be talking about this year’s British Grand Prix for years to come. It was a classic. Not only did it ignite a war between the two title rivals, it also featured a superb comeback drive that had the crowd on their feet. Silverstone was a special place on Sunday and the 140,000 that were allowed in to spectate it will never forget what unfolded.

Of the eight times Lewis Hamilton has won at Silverstone, this was arguably one of his greatest drives. You could see from the emotion on his face when he held aloft a Union flag and ran out of parc ferme to share the moment with the fans on the inside of Club corner, this was special.
