    One of the first things you can do to help speed up your PC or laptop’s performance is to check what power plan you are running. Head to ”Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options.” This should show a list of preset power plans. To see all available options, click the drop-down arrow labeled “Show additional plans,”].
