o you remember Jack Hargreaves? A TV natural, he presented a. As a youngster, he seemed ancient to me, although he was probably no older than I am now, but his utterly relaxed, avuncular style made his show a big favourite of mine and all my school friends – girls and boys. However, the girls preferred the sections on horses to those on his other passion, angling, as in those days fishing seemed a rather male pursuit. Happily, as with so many things, society has moved on. Have a look at page 20 to hear more. I think Jack would have been thrilled.
