An unexpected blast from the past

Back in the day there were two main organisers of scooter racing: LASCA in the south, EMSA in the north. There were other smaller clubs of course but these were the main two. Many towns and cities have had their own stronghold for scootering and one of those was Carlisle Racing SC, and a guy from that area, who had been on the scene since the mid 70s, was Dave Harrison. In a 25-year racing career he had won both Group 6 race and sprint championships. In the late
