You can ask… it won’t get you anywhere, though. Actually it’s more just like me laughing at Chris, is really what it sounds like.

Before Revelation, what was your experience of MOTU?

I’ve definitely was just aimed so specifically at boys. That always frustrated me. I know there was later, but that was sort of an afterthought and it never felt like women were part of that world. What I love so much about being part of is it’s paying homage and honour to the original and yet at the same time bringing in all of these new characters – whether it’s ethnicity, or whether it’s female, male, it’s bringing it so that it’s open to everybody. I think that’s really special about what we’ve done with this.
