Angela doesn't let her passion for the preachings of Richard Dawkins and with a gusto that would put the Salvation Army to shame. Pieces that require a lighter touch, however, are more of a challenge; at a recent wedding she blamed her faltering rendition of on the failings of the organ. When she suggested a replacement, the treasurer of the PCC pointed out that it would be cheaper to find a new organist. But the blunder she has yet to live down is the time she was spotted by Maj Topbrass reading during the sermon. When challenged by the vicar, she pleaded for her job, not least because she's keen to hedge her bets, just in case Richard Dawkins got it wrong'.
