A new version of Windows doesn’t quite come with the fanfare it did in 1995 when New Zealand stores were the first in the world to sell Windows 95.
Back then, I was a geeky teenager and my PC was my prized possession. I joined the midnight rush at Whitcoulls on Auckland’s Queen St to buy my copy, the Rolling Stones’ blaring in the background.
