■ A 3.5mm (US E/4) hook

Tension is not critical for this project, but it may affect the yarn quantities required

Wrap measures 160x55cm (63x21½in)

ABBREVIATIONS

fdc (foundation double crochet) Ch2, insert hook in last ch from hook, *yrh and pull up loop, yrh and pull through 1 loop on hook (this loop will sit at base of fdc), yrh and pull through 2 loops on hook, insert hook in loop at base of prev fdc; rep from * as required

tdc (twisted double crochet) Insert hook in st indicated, yrh and pull up loop, turn work 180° clockwise so WS is facing, yrh and pull through both loops on hook, turn work 180° clockwise so RS is facing

NOTES

Wrap is worked in rows throughout. Each Triangle is worked separately with the next Triangle worked from the stitches of the previous row, skipping the first 20 sts to create the stepped shape.

The final row of each Triangle and the first row of the next Triangle are always WS rows.

Using Berry, ch115.

Row 1 (RS) Dc in second ch from hook and each ch across, turn. [114 sts]

Row 2 (WS) Ch1, dc in each st to final 3 sts, turn leaving 3 sts unworked. [111 sts]

Row 3 Ch1, dc in each st across, turn.

Rows 4-75 Rep Rows 2-3 another 36 times. [3 sts at end of Row 75] In the next row you will work into the skipped sts at the end of each RS row.

Row 76 Ch1, dc in first 3 sts, *(dc2tog) next row-end and first skipped st on row below, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * to end, fcd20. [134 sts]

Fasten off.

REMAINING TRIANGLES

With WS facing, skip first 20 sts, join Ocean in next st from Row 76.

Row 77 (WS) Ch1, dc in each st to final 3 sts, turn leaving final 3 sts unworked. [111 sts]

Row 78 (RS) Ch1, dc in each st across, turn.

Rows 79-150 Rep Row 77-78 another 36 times. [3 sts at end of Row 150]

Row 151 As Row 76 of First Triangle. [134 sts] Repeat Rows 77-151 another 5 times using the following colours: Blue Green, Grass Green, Sun Yellow, Ruby Red, Pink. Rep Rows 79-152 using Lilac.
