Identity parade

Laid winter barley is my next decoying opportunity. I am looking forward to it after a spell in the doldrums. Since the end of May conditions have been a bit tricky for decoying, unless you had a crop of peas on your patch, that is. The pea fields around here are on the neighbouring farm, alas. The pigeons had a good time on the spring drillings then spread far and wide, feeding on the sparse bits of rape or freshly drilled and chitting peas. So the pea fields were the only bankable locations to make a bag.
