Second sidecar caravan

Further to correspondence about towing, I’ve built a vehicle to save towing a caravan, as I have just built my second sidecar caravan.

The prototype was built in June 2016 and used up to the pandemic, when I broke it down to make way for the new build.

Material shortages held me back, so it has only just been finished and not tested yet, but is now off SORN and back on the road.

I hasten to add that it is almost finished inside, though floor and wall cover are still to be finalised.

G11 CSR achievement

Ken Joslin appears to believe that Vic Willoughby’s celebrated ride of over 100 miles in an hour was achieved on a G12 CSR Matchless, as reported in the June 2021 issue. It wasn’t.
