Richa Infinity 2 Pro jacket and Colorado 2 trousers

One thing that always annoys me about motorcycle jackets is that so many of them are sold with no back protector. There’s always a little pocket ready for the protector, but no armour. I appreciate that it’s an extra cost, but as body armour goes, it’s pretty crucial. So, when I picked up the Richa Infinity 2 Pro jacket, it instantly won me over by having a back protector in place – and not just any old protector, but a pukka D3O Level 2 jobby. Kudos to Richa for including it.
The jacket also has D3O armour in the elbows and shoulders, but no chest protector. The Colorado trousers have knee protectors, but no hip armour. There are pockets for both hip and chest protectors. I can live with that.
These garments are okay for all-year riding as long as you avoid the extremes of weather. They both have a removable thermal lining for colder days, and while I rode with them in the grim Spring weather we
