After 25 years in London, Fiona Lindsay had envisaged moving to a Georgian vicarage until she saw a derelict barn near the Wiltshire village where she grew up. ‘It was an abandoned shell with a corrugated-iron roof and pigeons living inside, but the amazing views clinched it,’ she says.
