OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS, THERE HAS BEEN A HUGE INCREASE IN DEMAND FOR THE KING OF FRUITS IN ORDER TO FEED CHINA’S APPETITE FOR DURIANS. THEREFORE, THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT HAS ENFORCED INSPECTION AND QUARANTINE PROCEDURES TO ENSURE THAT IMPORTED DURIANS MEET THEIR SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS.
