Even before the nationwide lockdown was announced, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi was pre-emptive and swift to respond to the Covid situation. We suspended classes on March 12, 2020. The online teaching infrastructure was scaled up by the end of March and classes were shifted online completely. We had existing online meeting platforms—MS Teams, WebEx and Impartus—which were then fully integrated with Moodle, our learning management system.
