SELF-BUILD IN THE CITY

The past few years have seen encouraging signs of self-build taking root in our cities. No one would disagree that it is, by its very nature, a more complicated process than building out in the countryside and it frequently involves people collaborating to get the best out of sites which are too demanding or too expensive for single family units to take on. We’ve covered developments in London, Bristol, Cambridge and Leeds in recent years and this month we turn our attention to Scotland and, in particular, Glasgow where there are several interesting schemes taking shape.
