SOW EASY WITH SELF-SEEDERS

The beauty of self-sown veg is you haven’t had to put in much effort and often the resulting plants are better than ones you have sown. There are quite a few edibles that will naturally propagate themselves by seed and if left alone will keep popping up around the plot. However, to benefit from these you can’t be too tidy and have a pristine, weed-free plot.

You could devote an area to self-seeding crops and in the first year sow in lines or in blocks and then allow some of them to flower. At the time the seeds are ready you can let them drop naturally or gather some and sprinkle over your self-seeder area. This just gives you more control over
