Shape up for the season ahead

Letting yourself go can be damn good fun. Some of the best summers of my life have been spent drowing in Pimm’s, pizza and fancy pastries, and I don’t regret a minute of it. Not the ones I can remember anyway.

But the cruel truth is, however enjoyable the process of getting out of condition, everything else in life becomes that little bit harder, which, it turns out, is no fun at all.

So if you want to squeeze every last drop of enjoyment out of the forthcoming season, then invest time in getting back into shape. We’re not suggesting you don Lycra or buy a suite of expensive gym equipment. Instead,
