Tears blurred Louise’s eyes as she arranged her Dior ankle-strap heels on the box they’d come in, making sure the dust bags and authenticity certificate were visible in the photo.
Her favourite shoes. She’d bought them on sale for £300. The design was Italian, the leather a stunning burgundy with gold accents. She positioned the shoes sideways for another photo. Buyers would want to see the iconic gold D hanging from the elegant ankle buckle.
Another shot taken from behind to show the height of the heels, and the fact they weren’t scuffed in any way. And of course, a shot of the underneath.
There was slight wear and tear on the soles, which would lower the price she could ask, but she needed to be upfront about that. People needed to know exactly what they were getting. And she didn’t want any negative reviews.
