Hairy HURST
Steve Christinzio’s 1973 Oldsmobile probably wouldn’t be here today if not for some far-sighted owners in its past.
“It started out in California,” said Christinzio, who’s owned the ’73 Cutlass with the Hurst/Olds package since 2013. “If you look at the (front license frame), that’s the dealership, Dick Browning from Long Beach. It came with the car. Then from there, I believe the original owner passed away and his nephew inherited it and it wound up in Oregon. I have pictures of it. Apparently, he took it to shows, but he took it on a trailer. I have pictures of that.
“Then it wound up in Virginia and that owner had it for 10 years. That’s who I bought it from.”
