LEE’S SELF-BUILT DREAM MACHINE

My self-built machine had to fulfil three objectives. The first was to be simply a PC for everyday needs. Nothing quirky that flashes like a funfair ride, just a solid Windows-based family computer. The second was to create something to outperform the dazzling new products on the PC Pro benchmarks. Like a Bee Gee at Glastonbury, my machine needed to transcend the years and deliver the goods in the face of younger opposition.
