SCIENTISTS REDISCOVER LOST TORTOISE SPECIES
After genetic testing, researchers in the GalĂĄpagos, thought to have gone extinct more than 112 years ago. The animal was discovered on Fernandina Island and may have been found just in time. The hunt is on to find a mate for Fern to save the species from extinction.
