MATERIALS

• 1.25m (1 3/8yd) silver swirl print fabric

• 1m (1 1/8yd) navy crosshatch print fabric (blocks and binding)

• Fat quarter of light blue star print fabric

• Three fat quarters of coordinating blue small print fabrics (appliqué)

• 1.5m (1 3/4yd) backing fabric

• Lightweight batting at least 66cm x 150cm (28 x 59in)

• Clear monofilament thread

• Freezer paper — Susan recommends CutRite

Heavy Duty Freezer Paper

• Appliqué glue

• Spray starch

• Small paintbrush and bowl

1/4in bias tape maker

• Sharp pencil

• Sharp pointed scissors

• Small/mini iron

• Sewing machine with 1/4in and open-toe feet

• General sewing
