• 25 squares, 25cm (10in) of assorted small print fabrics (flowers)
• Fat quarter solid pale yellow fabric (flower centres)
• 1.3m (1 1/2yd) solid white fabric (background)
• 90cm (1yd) pink floral print fabric (border)
• 2.9m (3 1/4yd) backing fabric
• 70cm ( 3/4yd) yellow stripe print fabric (binding)
• Batting at least 1.5m (57in) square
• Template plastic, fine permanent-marking pen and stiff paper (160–220gsm)
• Fabric-basting glue pen
• Appliqué glue
• Erasable fabric marker pen
• Size 11 milliners needle
• Fine thread in a neutral colour
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Sewing machine with 1/4in foot
• General sewing supplies
