IF YOU HAD to name the second-oldest continuously operating automotive brand name in the world, here’s 100 koruna that says you wouldn’t have guessed Tatra. The Czechoslovakian carriage-builder was founded in 1850 and produced cars and trucks from 1897. Passenger-car production ended a century later, but the Tatra name lives on with truck production.
