Spanish duo Bala – Violeta Mosquera (vocals, drums) and Anxela Baltar (vocals, guitar) – exemplify this attitude, with their new album Maleza, a superb slice of all-caps ROCK that combines adrenaline-hit immediacy with crashing riffs and huge, skull-invading hooks.
