Helen Beatrix Potter was born on 28th July 1866 in Kensington, London. She was an author of children’s books and became famous for creating Peter Rabbit, Jeremy Fisher, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and other animal characters.
