Welcome

t was cold, dark, rainy but nowhere near miserable. In fact I was having the time of my life in Stephen’s Mk3 Midget, back in 2018, on the shortest day of the year in the middle of and since then I’ve been pretty interested in its pages, either writing for it or just enjoying a good read. A year later I bought myself the MGF you see above and have come to appreciate first-hand the joys of owning a little British sports car. To the outsider, it can sometimes appear irrational, senseless, and a bit silly at times, but we know it makes all the sense in the world; it’s fun. MGs have been making cars fun since 1924, and has been reporting on it since 1983. So, it’s with some considerable honour that I take the reins of this magazine devoted to the enthusiasts of fun motoring. I hope to continue bringing together the personal stories, detailed histories, technical work-throughs and everything else that keeps us all interested when not behind the wheel. I also hope to bring along those outsiders to see what MG is all about.
