THROUGH the ages, many cultures have mummified (a kind of drying process) their dead to preserve the bodies as perfectly as possible. The Ancient Egyptians were masters at it and were mummifying pharaohs and important people as far back as 6 000 years ago. The process of mummification takes about 70 days to complete.
