Duck rearing is easy, according to this enterprising Lowveld producer, who sold his Pekins nationwide and exported some, too.

Ten years ago, A Barnard was told that trying to produce ducks commercially in the Eastern Transvaal [Mpumalanga] Lowveld was impossible. But today he is possibly one of the largest day-old-duck producers in the area, selling his ducklings not only nationwide, but as far afield as the Seychelles.
