Performance VW: Is writing your full-time job, or just something you do for fun and a bit of extra cash on the side?

Dan Bevis: I’ve been writing full-time for a few years now. I did it for many years on the side of my day job (as an editor and researcher at an advertising agency called Leo Burnett), but they made me redundant after twelve years so I decided to pursue the journalism full-time. And you know what? It’s much, much better.

PVW: When and how did you get into writing in the first place? Did you study, or blag it?
