Multiple pieces of legislation are being proposed in California that would decriminalize psychedelic substances. One piece of legislation takes a broad approach to psychedelic reform in the state: Senate Bill 519, which Democratic State Senator Scott Wiener introduced on February 18, would decriminalize a variety of psychedelic substances in California.
