    Row 1 (WS) Purl.

    Row 2 *Kfb; rep from * to end. [12 sts]

    Row 3 and all WS rows to Row 25 Purl.

    Row 4 *Kfb; rep from * to end. [24 sts]

    Row 6 *K1, kfb; rep from * to end. [36 sts]

    Row 8 *K2, kfb; rep from * to end. [48 sts]

    Rows 9 to 13 Starting with a WS purl row work in st st.

    Row 14 K2tog, K21, (kfb) twice, K21, k2tog.

    Row 16 K2tog, knit to last 2 sts, k2tog. [46 sts]

    Row 18 K2tog, K20, (kfb) twice, K20, k2tog.

    Row 20 K2tog, knit to last 2 sts, k2tog. [44 sts]

    Row 22 K2tog, K19, (kfb) twice, K19, k2tog.

    Row 24 K2tog, knit to last 2 sts, k2tog. [42 sts]

    SHAPE WINGS

    Row 26 (K2, kfb) 3 times, K24, (kfb, K2) 3 times. [48 sts]

    Row 27 (WS) P2tog, purl to last 2 sts, p2tog. [46 sts]
