Pass the plate

Life on Otematata Station in Otago is busy and varied. With my husband, Joe, who is the fifth generation to work the farm, I help care for this 40,000ha tract of land that has 30,000 merino sheep and 500 head of cattle. In my role as station cook, I feed the teams of workers, along with looking after my two small girls, my garden and various animals. My book includes some of my most trusted recipes, which I’ve tested on many approving musterers.
