THE Liam Williams story gathered pace in the days before his shot at Demetrius Andrade but the latest chapter – the villainous American winning a lopsided unanimous decision – was far from the cinematic triumph the Welshman’s supporters had envisioned. With hindsight (always so useful when addressing the past), Williams’ chances of snaring the upset – voiced by many observers, including this writer – were perhaps a tad fanciful.
