A weighty issue

WITH OBESITY IN horses and ponies unfortunately on the rise, there has been an increased focus on research into the effects that extra adipose, or fatty tissue, has on the normal functionality of the body. In humans, we know that there are strong links between being overweight and increased risk of disease, but is it the same in horses?
