rrol Flynn was a born storyteller. A rabble-rouser with disarming good looks, he talked his way to loosely translates to “Don’t worry” in the local lingo. How could he afford it? One of his contemporaries in the Guinean frontier of the late 1920s noted his knack for befriending people with money. That, it seems, is how Flynn, pictured here wearing a captain’s hat alongside three unidentified crewmates, found himself sailing the schooner.
