If you’re into your trackdays, you won’t need me to tell you how easily you’ll muller aset of tyres, how expensive rubber is to buy or how annoying it is when you realise just moments before your session starts that you forgot to plug your tyre warmers in. If only there were hoops that were actually affordable, lasted a decent amount of time and didn’t depend on warmers to get the party started. Well, that’s exactly what Metzeler’s claiming from its new Racetec TD Slick, that actively targets the trackday and club racing markets with a whole host of saucy spec.
