COMING CLEAN ABOUT COAL

Since becoming the Chairman of the National Traction Engine Trust (NTET) Rob Clifford-Wing has effectively embraced the technology of Zoom calls to keep the Trust and its members and committees updated says Paul Richie.

In February for the first time ever he arranged a large-scale Zoom call for members of NTET, and any other interested parties to join, entitled “Coming Clean About Coal.” The purpose of the call was described by Rob as to upskill attendees on the current issues relating to the supply and availability of coal for our movement.

With over 300 people attending on their laptops and devices it was clearly a topic that drew interest both in the United Kingdom, and apparently worldwide. Rob introduced the call welcoming everyone, and then in turn introduced the carefully selected speakers.
