Kia ora!

What a week it’s been for the royals, huh? The Windsor woes definitely put anyteam’s petty family squabbles into perspective, that’s for sure! You can read all about the Oprah interview aftermath from page 14, but I’d like to dedicate this editorial to the other strong women sharing their stories in this issue. I’ve adored Kiwi stuntwoman/ actress Zoë Bell ever since her work on my favourite film of all time, , and I’m so grateful to her for opening up about the terrifying accident that spelt the end of her three-year relationship (p24). Then there’s my new movie idol, Tioreore Ngatai-Melbourne, who’s incredible in the local drama and reveals the tragedy that’s driven her blossoming career (p32). Shout-out also to s Negin Shademan (p28), Mai FM host Alex King (p38) and Otago con-buster Emma Ferris (p42), who are also sharing tales that’ll touch, inspire and intrigue you. And special thanks to my secret weapons, writers Leena, Cloe and Rebecca, for helping the tell these amazing stories. Enjoy the mag and have a great week!
