LIFE’S A GLITCH

Hi Retro Gamer,

Having being a gamer since the days of the Atari 2600 it’s fair to say that over time I have encountered my fair share of gaming glitches, the barrage that met me in Super Mario Bros undoubtedly being one of the most memorable.

I am writing to ask whether you would consider running a feature on the exploration of such oversights. Whilst still unwarranted, it seemed glitches that occurred in the earlier days of console gaming were acknowledged but readily pardoned and now are recalled with considerable affection.

In the present day, however, such incidents are more prevalent than, a game so botched it was deemed ‘unplayable’ being a primary example of this.
