was interested to read David Asselbrough’s letter about leaks in his caravan (issue 437). Having caravanned for more than 50 years, I find it astonishing that despite the advances in design and the development of structural panels, some manufacturers appear unable to produce caravans free from leaks. We tend to replace our caravan every three to four years and the last three, bought new, all developed leaks within 12 to 18 months. We were fortunate to have the support of excellent dealers, who came to our rescue and rectified the faults. I would gladly give up the fancy LEDs and gadgets for a shell that was structurally sound
