Agri economy needs more women to boost growth

Over the past two decades, South Africa’s agricultural production has increased significantly. Today, the country is a major exporter of agricultural products to the most lucrative markets around the world.

The ability of the sector to grow and attract foreign earnings is one of many reasons that has forced the South African government in recent years to show a strong interest in agriculture and prioritise it.
