REMARKABLE JOURNEYS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR

A COLLECTION OF UNTOLD STORIES

VICTORIA PANTON BACON The History Press, 256 pages, £16.99

Many of usictoria Panton Bacon’s new book looks at the real-life wartime journeys of various individuals, including children, teenagers, pilots, soldiers and prisoners of war. I loved the idea of different chapters focusing on people from all walks of life. Deeply personal stories and information that I have never heard of before make this a very interesting read, and a book that will educate anyone who reads it.
