ARE YOU, LIKE ME, WONDERING WHY THE KTM 790 ADVENTURE R IS BEING REPLACED BY THE 890 SO SOON?
Are you, like me, wondering why the KTM 790 Adventure R is being replaced by the 890 so soon? I mean, it was only launched in 2019 and we’ve barely got to know each other. It should be kept in mind that KTM turns over models, or I’m sure they’d prefer to have it said that they ‘develop’ models at a greater rate than the Japanese. The DR650, KLR, Ténéré 660 and Ténéré 1200 haven’t seen any significant changes for years, or even decades. The Japanese like to find a formula that works and then they back away so that model can live till an old age. The Austrians do not. But gone already? Damn that was quick.
