Tell us a bit about yourself.

I live in Marseille, in the south of France, close to the sea, with my husband, Bruno, and our six-year-old son, Gary.

I studied for five years at the Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg, where my husband and I first met. We then moved to Marseille, where we set up a studio collective with other freelance illustrators and graphic designers. I have been working as an illustrator for publishing, press and advertising since 1996.

After ten years in Marseille, we moved to Paris, where we lived for about ten years. For the last three years we have been back in Marseille.

Life with children is much easier here than in Paris. We are in a neighbourhood that is both lively and quite quiet, very close to a very large park, and we do everything on foot or by bike.

Who is in your family?

My husband, Bruno, is also an illustrator and freelance artist. He works for children’s publishing and the press. He also sometimes works as an animator for animated films and commercials. The people and groups we work with are mostly
